It's not very good in an objective, universal sense. As a Joe D'Amato film, it's the next thing to a masterpiece. Go to Full Review

08/30/2014 Pretty boring Italian horror film that is highlighted by its gore and notorious induction to the Video Nasty list. I do appreciate Joe D'Amato's blunt approach including some "no way" scenes, but the rest of the scenes that won't involve violence are pretty dull and even the attempt for an atmosphere is dull. The highlights including chops to the head, stabbings, abortion/cannibalism, and disembowelment. See more 12/14/2013 It's a Joe D'Amato film. Need I say more. See more 10/10/2013 Notorious for its graphicness. And thats about it. Pretty crappy story of some early-twenties kids trapped on a Greek island with a madman. Typical early-eighties Italian slasher. See more 09/10/2013 Sleaze with a creepy villain and often genuine sense of terror. See more 08/13/2013 This movie definitely had the 80's gore down for sure. The scenes aren't spectacular, nor are the actors amazing, but I have a fun time with this flick. Perhaps I am biased because I like the villain, but I must say that this movie really got me with the title. You mention the title to someone and a brief description, and they would most likely think less of this, but when you mention the fetus eating scene... that's when you really catch their attention. See more 04/24/2013 Joe D'Amato's notorious video nasty. Didn't make much sense, only served its sole purpose of shocking the audience with lots and lots of gore. Some of the scenes were remarkable considering it's low budget. But watching this film really tires me out with it's horrible horrible soundtrack, over synthesized score nearly killed me. Do not consume anything while watching this. See more Read all reviews
