Claudio C @Claudio666 6d Enjoyable Adventure. (12,261 - 07 Feb 2026) There is a problem in a spaceship and three women are forced to land in a planet destroyed by a plague. There is a reward for rescuing them and the bounty hunter Wolff lands on the planet. However, there is a battle between two groups, and the women are taken by men of the evil mutant warlord Overdog. Wolff teams up with the Earthling girl Niki, who was left behind in the planet. They stumble upon the bounty hunter Washington, who joins them in the dangerous journey in the forbidden zone. "Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone" (1983) is an enjoyable adventure with Peter Strauss, Ernie Hudson and Michael Ironside very typical from the 80’s. The plot is highly entertaining, and the cute 15-year-old Molly Ringwald is the greatest attraction. This movie was not well promoted and now may be considered cult. My vote is seven. Title (Brazil): "Caçador do Espaço: Aventura na Zona Proibida" ("Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone") See more nick s @Nick_S Dec 26 A very derivative movie, clearly inspired by mad max and Han solo. Even the story beats and dialogue felt like variations of famous blockbusters. The directing and editing were poor, with action sequences having no flow and looking like a jumble of random shots. If your expectations are very low it's good for a chuckle. See more Mark F 12/30/2024 Great fun. Much better than expected. We thought it'd be cheap and cheesy but it turned out to be well acted with surprisingly good sets and a memorable villian. My 17 year old son was impressed. Think Red Dwarf meets Barbarella and Mad Max. See more Sebastian L 12/25/2024 The first half of Spacehunter is one of the slowest and most confused openings of a movie I've come across. Ironside as the incredibly entertaining villain Overdog fortunately saves the rest of the movie from complete failure, and Ringwald's commitment is partly a substitute for the least interesting protagonist in movie history.
