Russ G Jan 23 Edna May Oliver and James Gleason in one of several on-screen pairings as the amateur sleuth and comically inept police inspector engaged in the usual game of verbal one-upsmanship. Everyone's a suspect and as for the Big Reveal, as for most of these B-grade whodunnits, the scriptwriters could have chosen anyone and it would amount to the same.
