Jenny U 03/23/2024 Dreadful. Very slow and tried hard to be meaningful. If you decide to watch, recommend you fast forward, 30 sec at a time. You'll still be able to follow the plot as it takes so long for something to actually happen. See more tvkid9879 11/24/2023 I hate movies where you are given no ending, and you cant even use your imagination to picture one. On top of that the main character (Kim) is unlikable. I am giving this 2 stars as the only decent part was the teenager who played her role well. Skip this movie, I spent 1hr and 30min+ watching it so you don't have to. She put it w/ the likes of 2001, Westworld, Clarke, Dick, Delany? It's dry, monotonous, boring, and avg. smart at best. She REALLY needs to read and watch some good sci-fi. The acting was good. But the story nearly put me to sleep. It's so meandering, nothing is explained about the future or why to leave it, or any real purpose for the movie. This isn't even sci-fi really, it just has people from the future. That's not enough to call it sci-fi. I also a number of scenes almost ridiculous. See more 10/19/2015 Its a story about the difficulty and importance of connecting with love. Flung backwards in time, across 400 years how to love those flung with you and those who you find there. Doesn't it seem that we all time travel everyday -- that movie helps you see that. And makes you feel a little more careful and appreciative of the day to day relationships we tend to take for granted. A very smart and often very funny film.
