Marijuana growers Jack (Billy Bob Thornton), Carter (Hank Azaria) and Harlan (Ryan Phillippe) are looking at a big payoff for their crop -- until head honcho Malcolm (John Lithgow) is murdered. Wanting a bigger piece of the proverbial pie, the three men decide to keep Malcolm's demise a secret, selling the stash themselves and pocketing all the profits. But, when they get involved with some very dangerous characters in the drug industry, the men start to question the wisdom of their scheme.

Funny in 01 hour, 41 minutes, and 51 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated R for Sexuality, Pervasive Drug Content, Language and Some Violence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The USA grossed over $271,400.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the cast lineup I thought this might be a fairly good movie. It started out wierdly, slowed down then became totally boring.

It's a film that at it's core is a great mystery with great characters. The production value lacks at times and Ryan Philippe is horrible, but overall the good actors and the great script salvages this and makes it worth watching. No movie worth watching is a bad film.
