The film's a 12A because it contains "behaviour that would be dangerous if copied". Quite right, too. If I ever see anyone acting like Fred, I'll probably loose off a shotgun at them. Go to Full Review

There is one sort-of reasonable joke about the Marriott hotel. Otherwise this is one to miss. Go to Full Review

If the only Freds you are aware of are Astaire or Flintstone then I'm afraid that Fred: The Movie will come as a terrible shock. Go to Full Review

A comedy without laughs centred around the most excruciatingly annoying 'hero' ever to grace a cinema screen. Go to Full Review

Sam N @TedHarmon76 2d Clay Weiner has clearly reached a new level with this film with a modern re-telling of Orpheus and Eurydice combined with the labors of Hercules. While this may seem like an obvious interpretation given the Ceryneian Hind (the deer that talks to Fred,) and the story of Orastes being brought back with his friend Evan, who get's lost in the forest, or a kind of retelling of Pygmalion falling in love with his statue who then becomes real, through the ending where (SPOILERS - this is a seminal work so please don't let me spoil it for you) the statue comes to live, through Judy singing with him. She of course stands in for Eurydice. Truly, a seminal work, surpassing his former film, Happy Father's Gay, and I've shown it to my children twelve times this week already.
