Joshua M @joshmacrow Dec 24 I choose to watch Exes of Christmas Past as my Christmas Eve film this year. I feel I made a great choice! This isn't a genre of film I usually flock to but I had such a wonderful time with this film. It feels so modern and Christmasy at the same time. A very well written script with a great variety of fleshed out characters. Particular favourites for me were the Dad character, who provided me with most of my laughs in the film. And Lead Josie Fletcher who is the glue that holds this film together! The actress who plays her displays a great range and handles the juggling of all the relationships with the co-stars with ease. The film kept me engaged throughout and has made me want to delve deeper into this genre of storytelling. The writing is top notch and every actor brings it. Grab your blanket, your cocoa, and snuggle in with your new Mill Creek friends! See more Dave E. @Debert26 Dec 11 Instant classic. From the moment Josie stepped back into that cozy, snow-dusted B&B, I was utterly hooked, my heart wrapped up tighter than a gift under the tree. This movie isn't just a holiday flick; it's a sparkling cocktail of nostalgia, awkward laughs, and that electric "what if" tension that had me replaying every ex-encounter in my own life. The way it juggles three high school sweethearts without missing a beat—each one funnier, sweeter, and more swoon-worthy than the last—felt like the universe's cheeky gift to anyone who's ever wondered about the roads not taken. And don't get me started on the festive chaos of the Christmas Crawl; those twinkling lights, heartfelt family moments, and that finale? Pure magic that left me grinning like a kid on Christmas morning, tissues in one hand and hot cocoa in the other. If love at first watch is a thing, this one's got me proposing a rewatch every December. 10/10 See more Read all reviews
