I love this movie! It’s satire comedy brings a good balance to a difficult subject that this movie is based on. Although at times the tone of the movie seems to shift between 3-10 in an instant, it does make sense as it’s based on different timelines with flashbacks to the past, before these characters immigrated the way they did. I see negative comments on how this is based on illegal immigration. And so what if it is? Why does this make this movie bad. This is good story telling based on actual historical facts. Also, I don’t get the comparisons to Hirani’s previous movies. Are we expecting these artists to produce the same kind of movies and not get out of their comfort zones? This is art and I completely support experimentation and expansion in whatever ways these artists wish to express themselves. After all, this is still an intelligent movie with great music and visuals. I found it educational, fun and entertaining!

Thanks to the maker, got something to watch which is reality nothing artificial, and enjoyable too.

Don't feel like a rajkumar hirani film.it Don't make you feel bored but not even interested. Emotional scene didn't had the punch like other rajkumar hirani movie .no character is memorable. I don't want to remember the fact that this movie was made by rajkumar hirani

Slow burn movie where the first half drags out slightly which I personally think is a great aspect and it allowed me to enjoy the second part even more. The second half is when things really start to pick up and more serious topics are dealt with. The entire movie does a great job of blending serious issues with comedy and every performance was spectacular. This has official been on my favourite movie list since I saw it in the cinema, and I’ve never heard so many people audible laugh and cry so much in a theatre!! A definite must see!

Dunki is a good movie with drama, comedy and a lot of emotion. The movie give good message to all.

Not the best movie of R. Hirani

its just not a good movie. from the casting to the script to the unclear direction and message of the movie. just a total mess. the direction the director wanted could be guessed but it definitely didn't do what it was supposed to. the illogical and hypocritical views on immigration and court procedures makes it highly difficult to sit through the movie. the time jump also didn't make sense. we didn't get to see what the other characters were doing and why are so aged in just 25 years?? wouldn't recommend

SRK should stop doing movies

A lame and a pathetic movie, waste of time. Shahrukh Khan overacts, is unbearable.

Felt like all the movies of Rajkumar hirani are given to ChatGPT and asked to write a similar script based on the subject of Dunki. Big Rajkumar Hirani fan but disappointed by this one.

Could see where the storyline was directed, but along the line it got a bit jubled you could say. Like it would have been very good if we got to see what those people were going in the UK for those 25 years. And the progress of the works that they did throughout the time. Also .... In the timeline their ages were very confusing...... Like when they went to UK they must have been 30 Max to max ..... And according to them it's been 25 years, so that makes them 55 years old, but the way that their makeup was done it made it seem like they were around 65-70 years old. Also, isn't Shah Rukh 58 years right now ?? And he doesn't look like that .... So what were they trying to achieve?? It was very confusing. Also, in Manu said that she hadn't seen her home since 25 years, how is that possible, they are living in some year after 2020 so don't they know how to operate videocalls?? Maybe not their parents but someone from their neighborhood. And how do you live without seeing your parents for 25 years?? What if they died in that time ?? What would have happened.... Would they have called Hardy so he could have taken them home ?? I mean I can see the vision of what they wanted to make, but the storyline could have been more accurate if they had focused on some small details.

Dunki might leave some people divided by its antagonistic take on immigration policies, but apart from that it's an enjoyable venture with a lot of heart that'll keep you cozy till the end even if the plot is a little uneven

A movie based on true incidents, that captures some of the struggles of people who have no choice but to immigrate. Heartwarming performances, masterly direction, impressive cinematography and emotional music. Shah Rukh Khan's performance was captivating. It's a must-watch.

Totally worth the wait! Once again excellent acting by SRK, he is indeed the king khan of Bollywood! Storyline is flawless and the transition of each element has been achieved smoothly. Background music is another gem for the movie but undoubtedly SRK carries the movie as one of the most versatile actors of Bollywood. Definitely worth a watch!!!!!

SRK in fine form - wish there was more dancing!

A good movie but Worst Rajkumar Hirani Film. Rajkumar Hirani could not explore the topic and seemed to be confused himself. The topic was quite good. the message was not clear. Acting Performance Also Not Excellent Tappse Pannu Acting was Worst. Vicky Kaushal Acting Is Excellent but other wise decent. Still i liked the movie. Raju Hirani Missed Another Masterpiece.

Honestly I loved this movie its great if you want to know about migration i love the actors they overall energy of the film is so good i definitely recommend you to watch it does give you a different feel good sensation after you watch it
