A showcase for both the best and the worst of what Bluth and Goldman's animators were up to. Go to Full Review

This uninspired, but mercifully short, adventure will hold some amusement for little kids but bore everyone else. Go to Full Review

Jay W 1d "Bartok the Magnificent" is the somewhat spinoff of "Anastasia" (1997). When does this movie take place in relation to the events in that film? Unclear. In fact, this movie feels like it takes place in a completely separate world from that of its predecessor. Here no one seems to bat an eye at the fact animals can talk or that dragons exist. So best to take this film as its own little thing. In the day and age where Disney was making a slew of straight to video sequels to their classics, Don Bluth shows that this is something he can still do better than Disney. The budget is still clearly smaller than Bluth's cinematic features. But this still manages to keep Bluth's magic. The voice cast is top notch, and the movie has a nice kids storybook feel to it. The storyline is straight forward; it follows a video game sidequest storyline where Bartock must gather 3 various items in order to unlock the final boss battle. Nothing groundbreaking, but still a lot of fun. See more Caileigh M Nov 10 Still one of my absolute favourite films! I watch it around a few times every year and I’ve never gotten sick of it!! It might be a bit odd and abstract, but in the best way! See more Brooklynn M Apr 11 My sister and I still watch this when we’re depressed, this is top tier. The art is beautiful and the characters are just so funny and silly to watch them go and do their little adventures. For context, I’m in college and my sister is in high school. For sure good for all ages See more 06/20/2022 What the ****?!!!! The worst 01 hour: and 07 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
