Pondering what all this means in terms of contemporary concepts of masculinity is much more interesting than the film itself, which feels very much like something lifted wholesale from video game culture. Go to Full Review

Derivative and forgettable, Worldbreaker is ultimately too repetitive with its weak plot about a father and his teenage daughter trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world populated by zombie-like creatures. The visual effects are mediocre. Go to Full Review

Some decent acting and cinematography give the film a veneer of respectability, but at heart this is sheer B-movie bobbins. Go to Full Review

On the surface, Worldbreaker is a mediocre creature feature, but just beneath that surface is a vibrant metaphor, waiting for adults to pick it up and point it out. Go to Full Review

Mr Hollywood Feb 9 Ridiculous. Most of the movie we are on an island with the two characters. Once it starts to be exciting it’s over. Ridiculous See more Rob Feb 4 Good sci fi fantasy film. Irish film. Cool monsters but they aren’t shown that much. More drama than action. See more shane O @Shanes_DVD_Shack 10h Full of all the nonsense you would expect from A 2025 movie . The story could have been good , it had cool monsters . But it had to be about how men are evil and can only be saved by women See more Cheriel R. @Cheriel27 3d I thought this was gonna be a Resident Evil type film given that it's with Milla Jovovich. But it's just a very boring and with very little action at all. See more The Words, The Willow & @RT81247498 3d Story driven movie about a mom, a dad and their daughter. Many people don't have the mental capacity to enjoy story driven movies I loved it. See more John M @RT93008673 6d Worldbreaker attempts a brutal survival landscape but fails at basic logical consistency. Its characters operate on a "legacy OS" of Western sentimentality that an apocalypse would purge instantly. The greatest error is Willa. Raised in a lethal environment, she retains the emotional fragility of a sheltered teen. A pragmatically raised child trained for combat would be tactically efficient and emotionally decoupled, viewing outsiders not as "secret friends," but as resource drains. The script projects first-world guilt onto a world where mercy is simply a resource leak. Furthermore, it fails at biological pragmatism. The lore dictates extreme food scarcity, yet the cast's physical presentation completely contradicts this caloric reality. The production failed to sell the starvation their script demands, shattering all immersion. Ultimately, Worldbreaker is survival cosplay. It wants the apocalyptic aesthetic without the brutal psychological or physiological recalibration required. See more Read all reviews
