I'm afraid that this didn't do much for me. The uber intelligent 13 year old dealing with angst etc. Seen it a million times before and this isn't one of the better stories to tell.

Blimey, yet another coming-of-age movie. This one sees home-educated son of hippies take to normal schooling and kinda getting too pally with his homosexual teacher. Brave filmmaking that's well acted and awkward to watch at times but captivating nonetheless.

A very touching coming-of-age story about a Canadian teenager who, having been raised by aging hippies, has no concept of real-world boundaries. When his parents take him out of home school and enroll him in a regular middle school, he becomes infatuated with his teacher and has trouble fitting in among the other students. It would seem as if this were cliche, but it manages to be something utterly new, and fits the title.
