King is a blast, with the fierce intensity of French actress Sara Forestier, whom she strongly resembles. And this movie is worthy of King’s exertions.

This little girl improbably hacks away at the evil prince's army. Oddly, I soon thought they actually were an ideal wedding match. And that never went away. It's a bit of a worry that Hollywood is over-empowering small women to take on large men - they might win, but the odds and the physics are against them.

Disney Princess girl-power meets Asian sword-action movie! One of the best YouTube movies I've seen! Tho 20th Century Fox is the studio, this has much more of the feel of a Disney+ movie, a rougher, more action oriented Disney Princess tale. The talent in front of and behind the camera all understand this is familiar territory, a mash--up of familiar tropes. The only solution to this is--as always--conviction, commitment and excellent craftsmanship in every department. The Princess has all of these. I'm curious where the castle set or real castle was. Most of the crew is Bulgarian. Google AI says the main castle and castle sets were shot in Sofia, Bulgaria. It's common to see multi-million dollar sets made for much less in studios in this part of the world. If the villain, Dominic Cooper looks familiar, he plays Tony Stark in the Marvel Universe. Joey King was the unexpected action villain in Bullet Train the same year this was released.
