The movie was very intense. It was an all or nothing adventure with “no going back” and “no plan B”. Batman’s lonely and reclusive life really hit home in this one.

I ship THEM(the greatest enemies). I loved the sarcastic and funny jokes. This was so good. Spot on a Lego Movie. The music choices are always the best. And— we love Batman's deep gravelly voice. Joker's and Batman's dynamic is crazy. Robin's character was also great! #kindafeelbadforthecitizensofgotham

I saw this movie when it came out in theaters, but decided to rewatch it just today. And wow. This movie is terrific on all fronts- it honestly blew me away. The humor strikes a balance between clever but also amusing for all ages, which is hard to do. It is a total love letter to decades of Batman and other DC Comics characters, as well as cameos from other WB properties. The story functions as a great standard Lego movie adventure, but also a fantastic Batman story itself. It went in surprising places I didn't expect for what it appears to be on the surface. It's such a shame we never got a sequel because this movie is such a gem. From now on, I will put on this movie if I ever need something to cheer me up. Please go watch it if you never gave it the chance!
