I laughed a few times enjoying some of the clever lines including Hey Santa Watch Yourself Going Down The Chimney!! It's a grown-up Christmas film with lots of chaos and conflict amongst the glad tidings. See more Banta R @Bantaray Dec 21 One of my favorite films. It is a must watch at Christmas. Ed Burns creates a world that feels real and moves us through the struggles of a family dealing with grief and forgiveness. It reminds me to get out of my own way, and to remember to open my heart to forgive and forget. See more 12/25/2020 Excruciatingly slow. The acting was not great alot of the time. The storylines were painfully predictable. The last 60 seconds of the movie was moving and will stay with me for awhile...but I won't watch it again and wish I hadn't wasted my time watching it the first time. As usual, he depicts and Irish-American family with insight and observant dialogue, but this one has more heartfelt emotion and difficult truths, including coming to terms with betrayal and loss. At the end, we don't know exactly what is in store for each character, but will probably root for most of them. See more 12/11/2016 With absolutely nobody famous this Netlix movie has a more interesting family dynamic and one that is infinitely more relatable than those in major Hollywood Christmas movies.
