The Charnel House is an intriguing thriller with a novel concept, carried forward by a bold and focused performance from its lead. Go to Full Review

The change of view is welcome, but Moss isn't inventive, ornamenting a curiously bizarre premise with routine scares. Go to Full Review

The Charnel House doesn't break any conspicuously new ground, but the setting is distinctive. Go to Full Review

Andrew R @HorrorMovieLover458 6d This movie was a hard watch. Not because the acting was bad, or the ideas were off-putting, or even the horror elements, but rather because the movie just tried to do way too much. You have an investigator trying to solve a mystery in the building, a family of three trying to improve their daughter's behavior, two singles trying to date, a member of the historical society that hates the building, a ghost boy and background characters. The hotel rooms are also voice controlled, which could have been interesting if explored or used more. Each storyline could have been expanded into its own movie, and even the twist at the end just left you wanting more. The couple was never really developed, the family doesn't really grow and the other characters just seem more there. The plot leaves the watcher kind of bored and not really knowing who they are supposed to follow. By the time the first kill took place, you are almost halfway done and still without a driving plot. Nadine Velazquez is a true talent, she was at the top of her craft in this film!!! I have watched this film several times, and each time, it is more captivating than before! A true must-see!!!
