Kevin L @Lakeman Feb 24 More like The Un-Becomers. The Becrummiers? Yeah, so...this was just deflating. Too light, meandering; no heft to it. I felt no real interest in the characters or the events of the movie. Felt rather sterile, visually dull, and gross at times. I hoping for the 'comedy' in the description, but got nearly nothing funny out of it, and only a thin, vague sense of real science fiction. IF they were going for a "Made In The 80s" vibe then they have definitely succeeded. It is a very primitive and film-schooly production as far as the writing, acting, cinematography, editing, sound design, etc. That said: If you like kitschy indie productions then this IS for you. I just didn’t expect to LOVE IT the way I did. I was thoroughly engrossed and rode the action effortlessly from start to finish. I did not think that the cult was a derailment (as described in another review). To me it spoke simply of the fact that you never know who someone is and what they are about until you can see deeper into them and their lives, which seems to be a basic truth.
