ok movie but it is disappointing and confusing

This movie is so stupid it's fun. This was a bad time for movies and every movie was trying to be The Rock. So over the top and campy. Crap, but crap that came from a puppy.

The storyline and entertainment value for SWORDFISH is definitely 4 star for TERRIFIC storyline, casting, direction, acting and editing (all shortcomings be damned).

Not as dated as I thought a 2001 film about hacking would be, this film turns out to be a fun popcorn flick full of action.

On a weird-ass riff of the danger-bus and bomb scenario...why does the bus look like a macro thing from...Tron? Anyhow, what does that matter? Jackman gets to rescue his daughter from her (better-off?) porn-star mom...

The only reason to possibly watch this movie is if you want to see Halle Berry doing naked stuff. The rest of the movie is unbelievable and dumb.

This movie was awesome! Is it unbelievable.....of course. Is the story line disjointed......it sure is. But you don't go into this movie thinking it is adapted from a real life story. It has an amazing soundtrack (If you are familiar with Paul Okenfold), awesome action scenes, and a great twist. If you are looking for a fun movie then you've found your guilty pleasure.

This is the definition of All Sizzle But No Steak....This was Bad. The acting is just ok despite all the big name stars in it. No one really has any chemistry or charm to any of the characters even the main guy. The cinematography is ok with over the top action scenes, and pretty to look at scenes that please the eye but don't have any substance to them or meaning. The music is bland and generic. The editing and pacing is bad. Scenes go on way too long, scenes that have no point to moving the story along and are just eye candy, and the plot just gets more ridiculous and answers questions by getting more ridiculous. It becomes less and less suspenseful and more frustrating as it goes on. The biggest strike against this is the ridiculous bad plot. It makes no sense and tries to add substance by adding explosions, girls and over the top scenes that are more laughable than shocking. It makes you think its going to all make sense in the end and shock you but never does. It's all very shallow. Very Disappointing. Skip This Mess Completely.
