Something in the Water is competently filmed, with lots of propulsive underwater shark’s eye shots of the flailing legs of the bridesmaids. But there’s rather too much time spent watching the girls bobbing and bickering in the middle of the ocean.

It was decent for killing time, but didn’t leave much of an impact. Tension was there in moments, yet it never fully pulled me in. A watchable, forgettable survival flick if you’ve got nothing else lined up.

Me sorprende la calificación de la audiencia que tiene esta pelicula, entiendo que no sea la mejor con respecto a trama pero me gusto la historia que conto. Sentí la historia mas real sin tener que poner al tiburón como protagonista principal.

After a lame start it got a bit better and created some suspense and bloody shots. But the acting and dialogue was really bad. Some characters like the bride were so annoying. I liked the scenes with the sharks, the animals were really the best actors in this movie. Not the worst movie in this category, but not good.

Acting & script so poor you'd think it's a comedy. Some of the decision making & spontaneous "brave" moments of the women swimming out to face the shark alone are just so unrealistic of the actual terror you would feel in that moment. 2/10 on a good day.
