Élise thought she had the perfect life: an ideal boyfriend and a promising career as a ballet dancer. It all falls apart the day she catches him cheating on her with her stage backup; and after she suffers an injury on stage, it seems like she might not be able to dance ever again. The path to physical and emotional recovery will lead her away from Paris to a picturesque location in Brittany -- where her friends, a new love and the freedom of contemporary dance will help her reconnect with her father and most importantly, herself. A heartwarming and inspiring story that tells us how sometimes, the worst thing that could happen may turn out to be the best.

Where many directors have their best work behind them, Kaplisch is actually getting better with age and every subsequent film. This feel good dance movie, with a message may be his best movie yet, and most definitely his best looking.

I really didn't want to watch a ballet film. Sorry. But I struggled to find anything negative about it, so went in expecting to walk out 40 mins later. I was wrong and you were all right. I punched the air at the end and thought it was a heartfelt delight, and got totally swept away.

Dancing was fabulous and Im not a true fan of modern dance but it made me appreciate it. The lead dancer/star was unusually phenomenal in both genres. Great casting in generating a world community of dance that transcends politics Many life lessons as well, that I will remember and use in my daily life.

You know that when the RT "Critics" give something a 100%, it's most likely pretty bad in actual reality. Well, this one is no exception to that rule. Horrible...drab...dry...and absolute GARBAGE.
