Ace detective Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, prompting his 21-year-old son, Tim, to find out what happened. Aiding in the investigation is Harry's former Pokémon partner, super-sleuth Detective Pikachu. For hardcore fans, it might be everything you’ve ever wished for, but for fans of the 2000s Pokémon, who stopped following the franchise (...) the numerous Easter Eggs and references might not be enough to overcome the undeniable narrative issues.

Detective Pikachu was a really good movie I love the comedy and the Pokemon in it look Awesome! But I wish the Pikachu in the movie was voiced by Danny DeVito like in the games But it was still a good movie! 👍🏻

As someone who grew up loving Pokémon and still does as an adult, seeing this on the big screen meant a lot to me. If you played the games, are attached to the original 150, and spent years daydreaming about what it would be like to actually live alongside Pokémon, this is absolutely the movie for you.
