Paul 6d Amazing story and acting with weird twist See more Ed Cigar Mar 18 In a semi-typical fashion, Korean horror gives you something to follow while laying out subtle references & eventually makes you reevaluate your expectations. Is it horror? Is it a bigger social commentary? Is it a comedy? Perhaps yes and no to all three. Rather than define itself or its messages in any definitive way, Parasite is a collection of moments, from humor to sorrow to disgusting to outright weird. Theres no standard to hold it to, unless youre really nitpicking it stands on its own as an oddity. A remarkable oddity but an oddity nonetheless.
