All I can say is, no matter who made it, no matter who paid for it, no matter who it's about, "Melania" is a singularly bad movie. I really did give it a fair shake. Go to Full Review

An obsequious, ring-kissing portrait of the current US administration, dressed in gauche, glossy reality-TV clothing. And yet somehow still better than Rush Hour 3. Go to Full Review

Ratner has accidentally delivered the ultimate chronicle of 21st-century excess and greed, a world of casual yet immense cruelty covered in flop sweat and gold glitter. Go to Full Review

By any critical standards I’m familiar with, I’ll tell you that Melania isn’t much of a documentary; it's more like a plush Life Styles of the Rich and Famous episode that bleeds into a chorus of booming triumphalism centering on Trump’s inauguration. Go to Full Review

...everything we see is, if not rehearsed down to the millimeter, is calculated. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

There are scenes that take place at Mar-a-Lago and scenes that take place in the White House, but really the whole film is set in an abstract non-place, a sealed cabin of opulence from which the external world is discernible only at a tranquilized remove. Go to Full Review

SeniorHente 1h Actually turned out to be a pretty good show, and was worth seeing. See more Kim C 1h It is a wonderful movie. It takes through the days leading up to the inauguration and the planning that she did for it. It gives a lot of insight about the projects she has been working on for children. She is very gracious and very a very nice lady. See more Heather 1h Gives insights into Melania's life. Anyone who thinks the life of president or FLOTUS is a life of luxury and leisure, are highly mistaken. They both work hard, and earn their money, based on what is shown in this film. Melania is busy constantly, flying around, planning events, meeting with people. She is a perfectionist so in every situation she has to be 100% "on" and looking great, in flawlessly tailored fashion and of course, high heels. In one scene they were all assembled at Arlington Cemetery outside in freezing cold rain. I give Melania a lot of credit for showing up in as many places as she does and taking care of so many people. Heck, I give Donald Trump credit for all that too. See more Katherine W 2h Very informative and love of our country and preserving history was evident Also nice to be able to enjoy going to the theater and see a movie with no profanity, nudity etc. See more Lisa 2h Well made and I love to see the relaxed side of Melania. It's also nice to see how excited others are to be around her and how well she treats people. See more Grace in CA 2h I liked it very much, and saw it with my adult daughter (Democrat). I preface this to say that I'm not a MAGA voter, though I lean Republican. We both felt it was beautifully filmed, especially the scenes of New York City! I felt it was enjoyable and lightweight (with the exception of the very moving segment on her meeting with the Israeli hostage',s wife). It was interesting to see the events leading up to the three day inauguration itinerary. The feel, however, was that of a campaign film as opposed to a personal reflection, with the exception of her St. Patrick's Cathedral candle lighting for her late mother. I do recommend it as there are worst ways to spend 90 minutes than looking at Mrs. Trump! I would have liked to learn more about Mrs. Trump's typical days, exercise routine, hobbies, etc. See more Read all reviews
