Despite the high chance that many Mormons haven't even watched the film, they're working together to portray this movie in a much more flattering light than it deserves. See more Ken C @LongFlightOfStairs 05/24/2020 It's true that the film doesn't delve very deep into Mormonism itself or the doctrines, but that's not the point of this film. The point is to show the world the stories of individuals within the church and the sort of people they are. If you're looking for perspectives on Mormonism itself, there are plenty of other sources for that. The people featured in the film are interesting, inspirational individuals and the film does a good job of showing how members in the church live their lives.
