While it's swell that these actors are getting roles and heartening that "Maybe I Do" acknowledges that older people remain sexual beings, all four leads have been in better projects that made that same point.

The older couples’ sparks have faded, perhaps because none of these people were characters to begin with. Macy, Sarandon, Keaton and Gere are operating with one adjective apiece and hitting that adjective until we’re exhausted by them.
