Colin Hanks perfects his enigmatic poker face veneer and knack for scary fun, as an Iowa bottom feeder working stiff. Still stuck in perpetual boyhood and living at home with his clinging when not nagging mom Pauline, a wickedly eccentric Ann-Margret.

We got spoiled with Bob Odenkirk. This proves he can do clinkers. Meirelle Enos is radiant and hard to take your eyes off. Hank is a stereotypical academic but worse one with baggage from his childhood. He's just very unlikeable and certainly lucky to be with the wife he has. Cedric Percelle Yarbrough also playing a snooty academic yet another character that's hard to watch. The rest of the cast interesting but it just don't seem funny or dramatic or anything worth watching. Good but seem to all stay in their own spaces with no changing dynamics amoung them to engage the viewer. Hanks constant sarcastic quips in response to even the simplest interaction are annoying as heck.

This is a fun macabre comedy about a serial killer who wins the lottery and a chance to win over his longtime obsession, who loves his money more. I've watched it several times and I love every part of it. Ari Graynor is great and Colin Hanks makes the best oddball serial killer. I also love the soundtrack. I love the song, "Calling All Doctors."
