K. S 05/16/2024 At first I wasn't sure if I'd like this movie but I was laughing my a** off by the 20 minute mark. More than anything I was tickled by the married couple! I like how the touched-on topics that are current to today. I liked how the characters could change their avatars in the VR world, and I like how most of the characters changed over the course of the movie, The scene I liked the most was when the was the married couple that was having an affair with each other. Overall, the movie was entertaining. I would have liked to have seen less of the sexual innuendos and more of a serious take on some parts. Thus, observe how presentations of the relationships and technology and the helpful outcome as well as danger leads to. I had not thought about such questions before and therefore was very glad that these were brought out by the movie. For instance: “Is cheating still cheating if you are in VR”; this helps one think about the other possible results of technology on cheating as a society and as a unit in real life. It was interesting to see the intersection of relationships and technology and the advantages and pitfalls that can have. I also appreciated the ethical questions asked by the film, such as "Is it cheating if it's in VR?”, which allows viewers to think about the different implications that technology has on cheating in our society and real-life relationships.
