In a perfect world, he'd be happy to head-bang in his room all day to heavy metal music. But no, his mom is an angel, his old man is the devil, and like all good fathers, he insists that Nicky get involved in the family business. Nicky could think of 666 things he'd rather be doing than corrupting souls or spewing evil, but when his father's command over Hades is threatened by his bullying older brothers, it's up to unbalanced Nicky to restore the balance between Good and Evil on earth.

For all the high concept gags and elaborate digital magic there are no fall down funny laughs, but there’s a steady stream of amusing asides, nutty gags, crude humor, and lewd references, all tempered by [Sandler's] gawky goofball innocence.

Incredible, truly incredible I love how they implemented Metal into this movie, Honestly, should have won an Oscar. Others might say its not funny but it really is hilarious! I've watched it 24 times and I still laugh! And Ozzy Osbourne was in it! Just Give it a shot!

Masterpiece in comedy!! Cult classic today Anyone writing a bad review doesn’t understand. It’s a fun movie with great effects even for its time. The storyline flows very well and the cast is amazing. Especially with Ozzy Osbourne may he rest in peace all these bad reviews that are recent don’t listen to them. It’s a classic with many quotable scenes.

Upon a second viewing of this movie I found it to be quite entertaining. A very talented cast and competent direction make this a fun watch. The cameos are great. Is it perfect no. But it does want to be supposed to do and it does entertain. In some ways it may have been ahead of its time.
