See more O g @RT76089177 May 23 VERY mixed acting, ropey script and has less suspense than it should. When I was at school there was real hype about this but it's aged poorly. Other than for the mild nostalgia trip it provides it's main salvation is that it's not without humour. But something like Top Boy conveys the language and behaviour of this 'mileu' far more accurately, and frankly, puts Kidulthood to shame. See more 01/18/2021 Kidulthood 17.1.21 Raw. Totally immersive. Great acting. This film makes me question my own life experiences and how they bring a person to this exact point in time from their choices made. And can you change (enough) to break that negative cycle. Some continuity errors. Hope the actors don't get stereo-cast. Checked out some cast members. Did like music, it seems relevant (I think) to the scenes but I don't know alot about music, only that I it felt fitting. Well done Mr Clarke. Hope your other related (trilogy) films make me feel it too!? It's a unique thing watching a film for the first time rather than say a second or tenth, I cant explain it .. it's .. fresh and new .. it's .. art in progress? 8.2/0. D.B. See more 01/13/2018 Kidulthood manages to depict the general lives of adolescents during the early 2000s, with gripping and believable acting by the fantastic cast. The film has that dark yet enjoyable tone that gives you knowledge about the daily lives of adolescents and what surrounds them. See more 10/20/2016 This isn't a gangster film (like legend) this is a twat film, but it is still way too good for a under rated film, one of the most truest British films ever to be made, a class film and it is a treat to watch, Noel Clarke shows a different side of him that we regually see in Doctor Who, and all though I hate his character, his acting is top notch and I love it, personally I would hate these characters and I would avoid the dark storylines but watching is so good and in my opinion, this is a proper film to be admired by anyone who's anyone British.
