what a disappointment ,iv never had reason to criticise a screenplay , but this is the worst iv ever seen ,its really bad ,acting bad sets bad script bad ,I really waited a long time to see this and love this story but it seems to miss out on so much of what makes this story great lowest point has to be when the old hooded guy gets up in church and mimes to a woman voice singing out the story , the story is sung out in this movie 3 times in total ...and crazy as that is as an idea , its also done badly

Much of this film is absurd as an historical drama. Many of the characters are wooden, with the exception of the young actress portraying Joan. Even more absurdly, I was somehow moved by Joan but I think that's as much about already being moved by the actual historiography of this remarkable 15th girl.

Challenging but brilliant sequel to Jeanette (2017). The sound is sublime, the visuals are stunning, and the delivery of lines so jarring as to really create an autocritique of itself.
