Thanksgiving is usually a happy time, but ad executive Jack (Adam Sandler) dreads the holiday because his twin sister, Jill (also Sandler), makes her annual visit. When Jack and his sister get off on the wrong foot, the only way to make it right is to invite her to stay through Hanukkah. But, when actor Al Pacino (Al Pacino), whom Jack desperately needs to star in a commercial, takes a shine to Jill, Jack may be forced to extend his sister's visit even longer.

I just signed up to rotten tomatoes 🍅 to say how much I hate this movie 3 of us just watched and made it all the way to the end and this is each person’s reaction of how they felt Brain raped Violated in every way imaginable ! I think I have a brain injury now after watching this to end. Do your self a favor, think deeply about who you truly hate and send them a copy of this film….. you win! 🏆

We mere mortals weren't supposed to witness such elegant beauty, yet - artisan Adam Sandler provides us with what can only be described as such. Masterful, satirical comedy on the kinship between brothers and sisters. Visionary filmmaking that tackles themes of loss, love, and what it means to be human. Phenomenon camerawork, acting, and the story.....oh the story.....it was like it was written by the gods themselves. 5 out of 5, any less would be heresy.

Jack and Jill was released in theatres in 2011 and stars Adam Sandler as both the male and female lead with Katie Holmes and Al Pacino also being in the cast for some reason. The supposed plot is that Sandler (Jack) is a successful executive with a family while his twin sister Jill, also played by Sandler, is an unmarried and unhappy woman living in their dead parent's home. Eventually Jill comes to visit for Thanksgiving and wacky hijinks ensue so the movie can happen. The obvious problem is that this comedy movie has none, the acting is awful, and this felt like a tv skit stretched to fit into a movie. Even if you like the slapstick Adam Sandler movies I'd avoid this one as it's just pretty bad.
