Now I can say I loved some of its details like Bill and Will characters, they remind me of the squirrel from the Ice Age. The father-son relationship and,of course, Ramon and Gloria make it a special film. Editing and pacing are subpar. Everything else is ok. The tap dancing only comes into it at the very end sadly enough so nowhere near as much dancing penguins sadly. The whole subplot with the Krill is completely unneeded, distracts from the main plot, and is out of place. When they are all stuck it feels like stuff just happens. Mainly subplots with the other penguin supporting characters who you really can't tell apart, jump around between, and occasionally gets inturupted songs. The songs aren't as many as before mainly at the start and end. They once again don't really tie into anything and could be replaced with anything else and nothing changes. The visuals occasionally are creative but it's a place we seen last time and isn't as creative. It can get bizarre still at points but not as bady as the last time or as much. Gone is any enviormental message as well. It also ahs a focus issue where Eric his son is supposed to be the main focus we think and it feels like when they have to rescue everyone he is forgotten about for most of the runtime and it's just a hogepodge of support trying to figure something out. It's just a step down across the board in terms of characters, focus, dancing penguins, and execution in general. Skip this and just keep tappin to the first if you want.
