Very high quality everything! See more YIYI X @yiyi11 Oct 25 When I watched this film, I couldn't understand the character relationships. The gentle male characters look a little the same to me. But their relationship is so complicated. When someone stays close or chats with lower sound, I begin to think maybe they have an affair. Astonished by the irresponsibility of the owner of the house, and how many ladies he forced them. Yet his legal wife does not respect him at all. He deserved it. I thought the new maid would be someone to utilize the opportunity to get into the house and find some secrets she wanted. But it seems that she is just young, innocent, and really could not find her way, but just bumps into many awkward scenes. Love the brilliant actors in the same scenes togethter, in their own characters. See more Alan P @Finominal Sep 15 I wanted to like this film - A bunch of upper class people in a stately home, and then there's a murder. Written by Julian Fellows, who penned Downton Abbey, but honestly I got bored of it, to the extent that with 20 minutes to go, I just googled who the murderer was because I'd had enough. It has a british A-list cast, but they are either mis-used or chewing on the scenary trying to outdo each other. As for being a comedy... well, nothing even remotely like a smile crossed my lips at any time. I guess, I wanted an old fashioned 'whodunnit' but really got something else. See more Read all reviews
