Nick's character doesn't exactly develop, but we do see its innards teased gradually apart. Ben Safdie's touching performance bookends the film with enormous grace.

Insanely good performance by Robert Pattinson, who seems to literally transform into Connie Nikas. And then there is another insanely good performance by Benny Safdie as Nick.

An alternative and unique drama. Love the cinematography and plot - the acting is top notch. Soundtrack is certainly different and out there - in parts it works really well but in other places I think it certainly distracts from the mood of the film. There are a few moments where I feel the dialogue and story gets a little unbelievable but it didn't ruin the film for me. Definitely worth a watch.

I tried so hard to like this movie, but it just didn't do anything for me or for the movie itself. It felt boring and slow and didn't really go anywhere until the very end. Although speaking of the end I loved it great interesting ending to an overall dull movie. I am also very happy it did well because it helped the Safdie brothers create great movies like Uncut Gems and Marty Supreme. I feel their movies need bigger budgets to do what they need to get done.
