At the end of the day, this is a Friday the 13th film...but it's a good one! Jason is more ferocious than ever and the kills are satisfying carnage. It says a lot though when you recycle the plot of the first 4 F13 movies and STILL feel light on story.

This is a modernized rehash of the same shortcomings that have plagued the Friday the 13th franchise since its inception: weak characters and a lack of suspense. The rapid cuts to cameras in motion makes the film even worse than its 80s counterparts.

Crème de la Trash, not entertaining, nothing interesting happens, excrutiatingly boring. The kills are very uncreative, machete to the back is apperently the only way to execute someone. don't waste your time

A Rare Instance Where The Remake Is The Best In The Franchise This Film Finally Realizes The True Brutality Of Jason As A Killer, Has Plenty Of All The Classic Tropes In A Friday The 13th Movie That Make You Go "Well You're Defintely Gonna Die Now"; Booze, Weed, Sex, Nudity Of PLENTY, All While Keeping You On The Edge To See Who Will Make It Out Alive. It Takes All The Best Elements From The First 4 To 5 Films And Mashes Them All Together In A Way That Works. There's An Actual Story, Jared Padalecki & Danielle Panabaker Are The Best Parts Of The Film, Travis Winkle Nails The Role Of Obnoxious Alpha Male D-Bag, And The Kills SLASH HARD! This Is An Intimidating & Threatening Jason! It's Nothing Groundbreaking, And The Friday The 13th Franchise Already Sets A Low Bar To Begin With, But This Is Definitely In My Top 3 In The Franchise Up There With Freddy VS Jason & Part 4. B 7.2/10 A MUST SEE FOR HORROR, SLASHER & FRIDAY THE 13TH FANS ALIKE.

very well made remake of a man child slaughter and jason was really frightening in this one. the only problem is the nudity they did NOT have to include it at all it pretty much ruined the whole purpose and it gets awkward when those types of scenes pop up. but other than that the movie is a 10/10 don’t understand the hate with all these people
