Lovable Englishman Charles and his group of friends seem to be unlucky in love. When Charles meets a beautiful American named Carrie at a wedding, he thinks his luck may have changed. But, after one magical night, Carrie returns to the States, ending what might have been. As Charles and Carrie's paths continue to cross -- over a handful of nuptials and one funeral -- he comes to believe they are meant to be together, even if their timing always seems to be off.

La peli es bastante mid.. los personajes no terminaron cayendome bien, siento q la historia no fue a ningun lado, muchos chistes no terminan dando gracia, warever En sí, es una pelicula mirable y se disfruta pero hasta ahí

Hugh Grant is adorable looking but not much else. The film shows a shallow meet-cute that turns into a presumably happy (non?)marriage at the end. Some of ther other actors do a good job, especially Simon Callow.

Much like the Notebook, this movie is another paradox of Hollywood portraying toxicity as romance. Two utterly unlikable protagonists held barely afloat by more interesting side characters does not a good romance movie make

Literally only made a rotten tomato account so I could give this under 2 stars. Main characters are intolerable, the writing led to the female lead role having all the personality of a doorknob. Their conversations have the same level of excitement as me on the phone to my car insurance provider. The other characters are what redeems the film.
