RandomGR3 G @RandomGR3 Feb 22 Had the ending been different, I would've given it a higher rating, I think they tried to reach high with the storyline, so much so, that they didn't even know what they ended up creating. What is this about? Is it ghosts - Hunted hotel? Is it a cult? Was it an obsessive fan who was into satanism? Did the main cast die? Were they initially dead or died at any point and didn't realize it? So many questions, not one clear story. Choose one storyline, and stick to it, because initially it was believed to be all about hunting, they even played the elevator game, but nothing came out of that except the voice and girl shown. What about the meal cart on the roof? Were they being targeted by a cult? And what about the history of the main character, it was all a plot to get him to come back to the hotel? Kudos to the wink given to the Cecil hotel though, loved the parallel, but asides from that, I don't enjoy it when there's too many plots and they make you feel lost. See more Carp S @Carp2345 Dec 9 This had a fair story line, like that the protagonist was a non believer so he wasn't afraid. There was a little too much of the camera shaking, too much of the movie relied on this and not the story line. The story line was good, a little confusing, needed to go further with the subplot. They have you going in one direction and then chaos. If you like chaos, tons of scrambled camera action and have a good imagination this one might be for you. Sort of odd that this movie about how exploitative these kinds of people are just openly parodies a real hotel with real deaths, but sure.
