Well-mounted slow-burn psych-drama...cleverly keeps from showing its horror hand until the ripper payoff..Channeling the ghost of Nurse Ratched, Charlene Tilton is an unnerving study in carefully administered cruelty. Great seeing her in such fine fettle.

drug addled freaks are used for lucy ewings boat payments. when they become trouble........well...........dumb little story but you can watch this.

This movie has a commendable aim - to show the horrors of addiction, and the warehousing of addicts in facilities that exploit their condition. But the horror-movie plot that's used to convey the film's messages is truly ludicrous, and the handful of decent actors (especially the protagonist) don't stand a chance against the half-baked, suspense-free story.
