While only the end of Gloria Grahame's life is portrayed, and we don't get to know her in depth, it is a well written screen play. I dialoghi sono sempre scorrevoli e nonostante la natura lenta del film riescono a tenere alto l'interesse nonostante una quasi totale assenza di scene di movimento. Solamente in brevi momenti si rischia di perdere l'attenzione, quando il livello di emozioni si appiattisce leggermente. Fairly morbid, by the book, biopic-style production that is pretty much matter of fact, and that's it. It's boldest decision is to show the actual Gloria Grahame in film clips and TV clips while we are watching Annette Bening in the lead role in the movie. Apart from that, the movie serves little purpose.
