Fat Albert Reviews
Fat Albert is one of the most powerful beings in fiction. He is faster than time itself

Love it hilarious awesome funny
20 years later and this movie still makes me smile and laugh. Every character was perfectly matched and storyline was great. Great touch to have the real life people of character at the end.
I remember really liking this movie when it came out but revisiting it recently it's pretty bad.
When the only highlight is the animation style of the cartoon dimension you know that movie is that poor. Fat Albert is a dry, tedious, underdeveloped kid-friendly comedy is little-no charm for the original cartoon.
Fat Albert the movie is utterly ridiculous but overflowing with joy. I had a smile on my face the whole time. The casting was excellent, and I loved it everytime the gang broke into a song or dance. The film is total fluff, but it delivers on the promised good time.
Honestly, watching it again after nearly ten years this had been out and well, it's your average bad. The movie is faithful to its source material with the moral and the messaging as the show does. Give Kenan credit that he plays a good Fat Albert, the rest of the cast are either a hit or miss and honestly, had some good laughs as this is a comedy. A couple of interesting points but the script wasn't that great especially having to bring in a love interest subpar which doesn't fit well. This movie could work well for young kids and maybe for those who grew up with the show, and before you ask, no, I didn't grew up with the show, sadly. 4/10.
This was the worst movie I've ever watched. I was scared after albert said "free o o" and proceeded to jump on the empire state building, instantly killing millions. Its safe to say the albert el gordo should be on the FBI's most fatass list.
its probably one of those if i didn't know who fat albert was this would be fine but i do i think this movie has some funny moments when fat albert falls out the window and when bill cosby says who did you heard was very funny.but this movie is just exited i think the people as the the cartoon human versions of them were just so bland they were fun but they move like they are cartons its just more of them standing there.i think everything with the high school stuff just dried out quick and pretty predictable to for me.i loved the track thing we were in a actually good movie for a second it was amazing just seeing them and that sound track in the background was good.i thing the bully people were not funny they were just put in just because.there is a lot of chessy acting to. final summary: the kids would love this movie but adults would not like this movie but this movie is funny and kinda creative but its predictable to me and so many parts were could have went back and changed it its a 5.5/10 i would probably see again but no is overrall answer. i don't like doris and also why does fat albert sound like he has been smoking?
This movie is a genuinely good family film. I preface this by stating that i do acknowledge that Bill Cosby is problematic and therefore has reduced the rating by one start. But in spite of this I believe that Fat Albert is a good movie. It has a good premise, alongside genuinely heartwarming scenes. The acting in this movie was whilst not phenomenal still decent. overall i rate this movie 4/5 good to watch with friends or family alike.
A live-action adaptation with a nonsensical premise seeing how its source material was a slice-of-life show, lame, tired fish-out-of-water comedy and a dilemma that would make me feel sorry for the title character were it not for the fact that he's only been in the real world for a day and a half, Fat Albert is a boring, unfunny, even cringeworthy adaptation of a decent slice-of-life cartoon. And yes, that's even without taking the controversy surrounding Bill Cosby into account. The characters are brought to life into live-action pretty well, Kenan Thompson seems committed and the sequences set in the cartoon world are the best part, thanks to their fluid animation and because it distracts me from the lame Enchanted prototype that forms the A-story, despite this story arc being largely filler. The cartoon sequences are a bit like the Scrat subplots from the Ice Age movies to be honest, but at least I actually care about the main characters in that milked-to-death franchise most of the time. Look on the bright side, Fat Albert. You're still at least marginally better than Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 & 3.
Is this movie perfect? Not even close, but it's very enjoyable and is great as family movie. I would recommend this movie to all 100% a enjoyable movie.
The Fat Albert movie is one the cinemas greatest masterpieces, and even if Bill Cosby is considered a monster now a days, Fat Albert is timeless. We all love watching him run away from his problems, and wanting to stay in the real world despite his world needing him back. And when Fat Albert starts fading from existence, it's enough to make anyone cry. And the ending, is what puts this movie above any Pixar movie in emotional value. I must see what happens to Fat Albert after all of this, and I'm awaiting a sequel.
A classic love story with some one key plot point being reminiscent of Back To The Future. This 2000's live action adaptation of the 70's/80's cartoon TV show Fat Albert And The Cosby Kids, is overall the same as most romantic comedies of the time but with live action versions of the characters from Fat Albert And The Cosby Kids fitted into the tale in a very 2000's way, and this makes the movie work in a weird way, it makes it a movie trying to fit with the other movies of this time, except it stands out because it has beloved cartoon characters in it that for a lot of people who saw this movie when it came out probably grew up with. Making us feel for the characters and what happens to them in a very specific way, like they're our friends and that these things are ACTUALLY happening to them. Just like the TV show did. Therefore this movie deserves a visit every once in a while, to serve a time capsule of its era and to bring a healthy dose of nostalgia to the people who loved the show this was based on.
i love this movie its interesting and funny
