I found Citadel to be quite frightening at times, unsettling at others. And I really liked that the film is ultimately a parable about fear and mankind's ability to fight back against our deepest and most debilitating flaws.

mmm... like a few other reviews i read, i rather like how it started but i quickly lost interest in it after a short while & stopped watching it altogether so i don't actually know how it ended. i guess i do like the idea of it, just maybe not the execution.

Not sure why people are such a fan of this movie. Imo it was ok at best. There were a couple nice scenes that drummed up the tension but the rest of the time it was pretty weak and I couldn't empathize with the protagonist. Wouldn't recommend this.

The first half of the film was very creepy, and for that it deserves kudos. It did weaken further on, but still well done for a low budget psychological horror

I almost let some bad reviews stop my from watching Citadel, but I'm glad I didn't, 'cause personally? I fuckin' loved it. Very reminiscent of Heartless, but a more horror-conforming plot.
