Tom and Kate Baker compromise their careers to raise 12 children. Tom coaches a high-school football team, while Kate has retired from journalism to raise the family. Things change when Tom is offered a college coaching job in a new city at the same time a publisher buys Kate's parenting memoir. Although flawed and far-flung from the original film, Cheaper is still a sweetly saccharine alternative to some of the "heavier" films out there this holiday season, that does have some very funny family moments.

5 stars all day long!!! Steve Martin is funny, sarcastic, silly, deadpan and dry. I love how he delivers his lines and he fits the total chaos of this movie so well!!!

Cheaper by the dozen is a semi sweet story of a couple that are trying to achieve success in careers while also managing 12 children. Steve Martin as the patriarch does well in role , as one would expect. Funniest parts are kids harassing oldest girls boyfriend, comically portrayed by Ashton Kutchner. Not a must see , but, has a few funny moments.
