After the cataclysmic events in New York with his fellow Avengers, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America (Chris Evans), lives in the nation's capital as he tries to adjust to modern times. An attack on an S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague throws Rogers into a web of intrigue that places the whole world at risk. this is a spy-thriller themed movie, it is so good it doesn't even feel like a superhero movie, and the best part is that even though i hate captain America the most of all marvel characters [besides star lord he remains 1#most hated of mcu character] it is made up for with black widow and falcon, so captain isn't as annoying as usual.

Steve Rogers captain america is so perfect, and Sebastian Stan/ Bucky Barnes The Winter Soldier is litterly Baba yaga and one of the most badass and awesome villians and characters and the reveal was insane and the boat stealth mission perfect, Sam Wilson Aka The Falcon is cool, Black widow beautifull and hot and supercool, and nick fury and the carattack scene awesome, and Alexander Pierce good villian

(Road to Doomsday pt. 9) This is the best MCU movie in my opinion, and I really don’t think that’s going to change. My favorite part of Captain America: The Winter Soldier is how it feels like a ’70s-style political thriller while still being a superhero movie with a $170 million budget. The Winter Soldier is one of the coolest villains out there, and Robert Redford is great as Alexander Pierce. The action scenes are another big highlight. I honestly don’t know if we’ll ever see better hand-to-hand combat in the MCU than what we get here. Steve Rogers is also such an interesting character—a man out of time who’s just trying to do the right thing, except he’s not even sure what that is anymore. That makes for a really compelling arc. On top of that, it has the right touch of MCU humor without going overboard like some of the later installments. For me, this is the MCU at its peak.
