As he approaches his 60th birthday, New York hedge-fund magnate Robert Miller (Richard Gere) is the picture of success -- at least on the surface. In reality, Miller is in over his head, trying desperately to sell his empire to a big bank before the authorities and his family uncover the depth of his fraud. Unexpectedly, a critical error forces Miller to juggle family, business and crime with the aid of a former associate, but a detective's (Tim Roth) suspicions mean it may already be too late.

'Arbitrage' was one of the most disappointing films I’ve seen in a long time. The entire storyline felt hollow, overly focused on greed, and failed to deliver any meaningful resolution. The narrative keeps you on edge but ultimately leads nowhere. We’re expected to sympathize with a billionaire who never truly cared about his family until it threatened his public image. To make matters worse, the film portrays law enforcement in a negative light and glorifies moral compromises, suggesting that preserving wealth and reputation outweighs doing what’s right. A dry, unsatisfying watch from start to finish.

Good movie with excellent acting and lots of suspense. Will he or won't he? It keeps you wondering. There,are so many mediocre movies available, it's refreshing to see something worth watching. Definitely recommend this one.
