[The] story falls flat as [Alien: Covenant] cares more about exploring the familiar been-there, done-that territory rather than continuing to embrace the philosophical storytelling approach seen in Prometheus.

After much contemplation, I have decided that this is a better movie than Prometheus. Though they have the same star rating, my personal enjoyment of this one was way higher than Prometheus. Alien: Covenant brings a gore and brutal tone to the franchise. It takes everything that Prometheus did good, and exceeded it and did it fantastically. Not much more to say, just overall a really solid movie.

Worse than the first one. In a few scenes it looks like a B-movie instead of what it's supposed to be. We had a good laugh, and it was definitely not what the director wanted. Also some parts of plot are not explained, they don't make sense.
