Regina A @RT00684320 02/20/2025 Ainda que tenha assistido esse filme há um punhado de anos atrás recordo-me vivamente do incômodo que causou em mim, levando a pensar sobre ele por dias. O estado de ânimo que me encontro hoje afastou-me dos espaços e atividades que gostava de praticar. A escrita, aqui, também compõe esse bojo daquilo que me afastei. O retorno sendo sobre esse longa não é acaso. "Después de Lucía" foi uma película que doeu-me a alma. Distintos longas tratam sobre a degradação humana a partir de uma posição de poder exercido por um outro, alguns como Dogville, considero brilhantes. Ainda assim, Depois de Lúcia é a linha da ficção que tange a realidade de uma maneira assustadoramente provável. A humilhação recorrente como prática de entretenimento ao outro, a dimensão de sadismo que não reconhece qualquer limite de respeito à dignidade humana, a perversidade do mal pelo mal, sem qualquer razão para sua existência, e enquanto mal se propagando enquanto permitido, possível, adensando-se cada vez mais profundamente. A pura manifestação do que há de mais ignóbil na prática dos grupos sociais. "Depois de Lúcia" é sobre uma vida que é sequestrada, sobre impotência mediante a perversidade. Sobre um futuro que escorre pelos dedos e que desesperadamente o ímpeto é de gritar "Não! Parem!". Não é possível que o mundo possa ser esse lugar. Mas, pode. Um possível permitido sob o silêncio daqueles que poderiam interrompê-lo. Que assumamos o compromisso de nos tornarmos mais éticos do que a sociedade na qual vivemos. Que aqueles engajados na construção de um futuro melhor a tantas Lúcias que experienciaram violências similares se reconheçam e caminhem lado a lado. Há caminho, Lúcia. É construir nova rota. Seen far too many series & movies where vile actions like this goes on and there's no punishment or virtually no retribution for such heinous acts/crimes. Not here! The editing can be extreme at times in the way it jumps around. Unfortunately, there will always be meathead subhumans like those who screw over Alejandra for no good reason at all. See more 12/24/2017 7.4/10 ~December 24, 2017~ See more 11/27/2016 Awarded with the prize "un certain regard" at the Cannes Film Festival, Michel Franco's second film deals with a social problem largely present in cinema: school bullying in the digital age. The shooting and the framing, specially the fix off-camera shots, as well as the long silences, immerse the public into the deepness of Alejandra's emotions (superbly played by Tessa Ia). Rough, bitter and cold, the harassment scenes come one after another and we enter a kind of vicious circle in which freedom does not exist. Any type of rationality, understanding or communication are in vain in this compulsory contemplation of violence whose origin is unknown by the victim and, maybe, even by the aggressors. The lack of communication and the sobriety of the photography provide more realism to the movie. Finally, the long sequence shot at the ending enhances the beauty and coldness of the whole. With "After Lucia", Michel France offers at the same time a pessimist but realistic and universal vision of the world, in which a simple action in the social media can make a durable impact in anyone's life.
