Acting is ok for what seems like a low budget film, but the story is what is so great. Few films cover the Reconstruction period & how people responded to Sherman’s Field Order 15 with character development. This film is about atonement & about spirits being put to rest. Good film. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time wanting to know what's going to happen next! It made me jump a couple times and i walked out of the theatre crying so hard 😭 You could tell it was so well thought out, there was clearly lots of love poured in!!!
