A Wall Street stockbroker (Dane DeHaan) travels to a remote location in the Swiss Alps to retrieve his company's CEO (Harry Groener) from an idyllic but mysterious wellness center. He soon suspects that the miraculous treatments are not what they seem. Os atores em si são muito bons e as cenas perturbadoras também me agradaram, mas é muito tempo de filme pra uma história que se desenvolveria em um período bem menor. Sem muita surpresa no final, é imaginável o desfecho no decorrer do filme.

A cure for not being bored perhaps... it's a long-winded, largely pointless, thoroughly disappointing effort from a usually half decent director. After 90 minutes you'll wonder if you can take anymore... don't bother is my advice

The first and second act of this movie were pretty good, and provided decent mistery and intrigue, backed by an absolutely gorgeous cinematography (even if the color pallette is on the "boring side". Then, the third act comes and it kind of falls flat. But it's still worth the watch, for the cinematography alone, or for you to come with your own theories on what it all means and what unfolds at the end.

The type of movie you are better off muting & just looking at all the gorgeous visuals & sweeping landscape shots. The editing is striking as it’s full of interesting & creepy imagery. The set design, use of the color green, & focus on water all look beautiful. Yet the story is very dull, shallow, predictable, & drags with the lengthy runtime. The gothic atmosphere mixed with Wall Street characters is unique but full of unoriginal genre tropes.

Me gustó y disfruté viéndola; la recomendaría, la verdad, pero en algún momento en el que no haya algo mejor para ver. Sin meterme demasiado, las dos horas de película están muy bien, y con lo que concuerdo bastante es con el final. Es demasiado extraño y, en verdad, malo si lo comparas con el resto de la película. Pero insisto, vean la si es posible, solo no esperen nada del final.
