Broken Bridges (2006) A Very Nice and Sweet Film (12,019 – 27 Oct 2025– by Claudio Carvalho) When a helicopter crashes during military training, five youths from Armour Springs die. In Miami, the journalist and single mother Angela “Angel” Delton (“Kelly Preston”) learns that her younger brother Bobby is among the casualties and returns to her hometown with her teenage daughter Dixie Leigh Delton (Lindsey Haun) by car to the house of the estranged parents. On the arrival, she learns that her mother invited her former boyfriend Bo Price (Toby Keith), who lost his brother Kyle, to stay at her home for the funeral, Bo is Dixie’s father, who left Angela pregnant when they were sweethearts and now is a famous singer of music country. The music in the vein of Bo and Dixie and the endearment of Dixie Rose Delton (Tess Harper) help to bring reconciliation in the family. “Broken Bridges” (2006) is a very nice and sweet film by Steven Goldmann. The story is very well developed, with nice characters. The cast is wonderful, with names such as Kelly Preston, Tess Harper, Lindsey Haun and Burt Reynolds. But the amazing country music in the soundtrack has names such as Willie Nelson and Toby Keith and is the greatest attraction of the movie.My vote is eight. The audience reviews are much more accurate than the critics. Good cast, good message, strong family film. If you're a cynic by nature or don't appreciate our military and the families that support them, not for you.

A heartwarming movie of love and loss. Excellent military tribute to those that have been lost. The music throughout the movie is powerful.

I love County Music and I'm big fan of Tobey Keith, so I was hyped to see this! There were some great moments in this film, but there was also some stuff I hated!!! (50%)

Toby Keith did a fantastic job in this movie! Loved the music, it reminded me of the stuff from his How Do You Like Me Now album. I might just start to like his acting better then his singing 0_0 X

This is a wholesome movie with a basic plot. It's plot has good points for anyone to follow. By the way, Toby is very hot. Yummy!!!

Best movie in the world

Amazing! Can't seem to find it any where though!!! :(

It is slightly cheesy but I found it charming. The story's one that's been recycled a million times, but it's done so well here that it's barely noticeable. I thought it was very sweet and touching. Toby Keith is not that bad of an actor either.

Really enjoyed this one. Teenagers that personally seperate their parents need to watch this one!!!

I never would have guessed Toby Keith had it in him to act so well. I cried through most of the movie. Absolutely wonderful. However, guys, this is a total chick flick. lol
