This movie reminded me of Castaway only in a science fiction future setting. It helped me imagine going on a cruise boat that was on autopilot, where the other 5000 passengers and crew didn’t make it on board. I watch movies over and over that I found enjoyable to my self and this is truly one of them. I recommend you ignore the negative reviews and give it a watch yourself and you decide. If I judged movies to watch based on other people’s reviews I know I would have missed out on a good number of movies I have greatly enjoyed.
